This processing method is to fabricate brittle materials with physical etching process,
without existing machining process or chemical treatment process.
We, Alps Engineering, have had experienced the R & D of this method for twenty several years and we have received processing order world wide.
Especially, our super precise fine processing using resist-film has been evaluated all over the world. |
(1) Pattern design with PC
(2) Manufacturing masks made of films or dry plates
(3) Laminating resist-films
(4) Exposure with parallel light
(5) Developing with a processor
(6) Micro Blast processing
(7) Removing resist-masks

| The feature of processing |
|
The field of super precision processing for brittle materials has been established.
The materials suitable for processing are hard and brittle materials.
This processing is most suitable to the materials difficult to apply chemical etching.
(Ceramics in general, glass, carbon, silicon wafers and etc.)
SAMPLE
|
In order to gain necessary accuracy using resist-films, the exposure and develop processes of resist-films must be stable. Otherwise, sufficient accuracy is not obtained. The thickness species of the resist-films are 30 , 50 and 100 .
The minimum processing width of grooves is approximately the same as the resist-film thickness. |
 |
| The accuracy of blast processing changes due to shrinkage of resist-film which measurement variation is approximately within 0.1%. |
1. Electron device (Rib forming on a PDP back plate, LCD organic EL)
2. Fabricating new materials (Ceramics, Glass and Carbon)
3. Super precise fabrication (IC Chips, Evaporating masks, filters)

| Consulting on fabrication |
| Please contact us if you need fabrication. |
| 1. Parts drawings and required measurements |
Formal drawings are not always necessary. Tolerances are required. |
| 2. Materials |
Ceramics species |
| 3. Required fabrication profile |
We need acceptable shape range because of a little taper trend. |
| 4. Prospects |
Hopeful direction for trial fabricated samples. Possible mass production |
